I am trying to get a WM5 device to sync with Vista via Bluethooth. I have tried a lot of different things without any luck and have yet to see any comments indicating that this is has been successful.
I have all the WM Device Center updates including the v2 update on 7/6. I am able to sync fine with USB. In addition, I am able to connect my device using Bluetooth (MS native BT stack). When I pair the devices, Windows recognizes 6 services on the device but does not have a driver for all of them. For the services that it does not have a driver for the wizard will prompt for to locate a driver for the "Bluetooth Peripheral Device" and I have to just cancel out. However, there is a driver for the serial port service and this should be all that is needed for the sync. I have a incoming BT COM port (com7) and even an outgoing BT COM port (com6) specific to my device.
So when I intiate a connection from the device, it is able connect to the PC and even initate a connection in WM Device Manger. However, WM device center will just show that is "Connecting..." for a couple minutes and then error out. It will never actually be connected.
Just looking for others to share experiences. Any hints would be much appreciated.

Bluetooth Sync Issues
Suggest you undo v2 update on 7/6. Mine worked firn before and didn't work at all after.
I needed to use System Restore to go back but now it's fine.
